A flunking college football captain's Fight to defend his rival's home-world Celestro from attack by the villain in his professor's favorite arcade game ExtraGalactica.
Professor Barcliff want’s to test his theory about the correlation between the main villain Anode in his favorite arcade game and a mythological Extra-dimensional being called “the destroyer of worlds.” To do so he sought the help of Lt. Slam to defeat ExtraGalactica, a game infamous for being unbeatable. When the destroyer of worlds set’s it’s sights on Earths closest Extragalactic neighbor Celestro, Captain Flerp becomes the professor's pawn and has no choice but to embark on the extra credit opportunity of a lifetime.
Captain Flerp is Plum University's star quarterback and the captain of the Plum U Pigskins football team. When Flerp receives a letter after practice to meet with Professor Barcliff about his failing grades, he quickly learns that not only is his rival's home planet under attack (cancelling his long awaited playoff game), but in order to reclaim earth's "Extragalactic College Football Champion" title, he will need to save their planet or the Argonauts will die holding the championship title. Joining him is his copycat, Nova, who can venture off on his own to complete tasks better suited for an agile, shape-shifting, kitty cat.
Lt. Slam is Flerp's fellow fraternity brother and consummate gamer. After winning several competitive gaming championships, he was an obvious candidate to finally defeat ExtraGalactica. Our story begins when conquering the long undefeated arcade game opens a portal allowing Anode to escape from his digital prison. As a trophy for beating ExtraGalctica, Slam is rewarded with a real life Super G Machine replica and an invitation to war.
Super G Machine is the famed super G-force space-plane from the classic arcade game ExtraGalactica. Key features of Super G Machine include: time-slowing capabilities called Retro Dash, lightning quick maneuvering, and the ability to store energy absorbed from fallen enemies to unleash devastating "full screen" bombs called "Super Attacks".
Celestro is home to the Argonauts; Earth's rival in the battle for College football dominance. It is Captain Flerp's duty to defend Celestro and ensure the playoff game between the Pigskins and the Argonauts happens so that Earth can once again hold the title of "Extragalactic College Football Champions.
Robot Bob is Super G Machine's automated assistant. He can perform upgrades to your ship, repairs, and notify you when threats are near your ship's docking location while you are out exploring Celestro.
