Dead by Daylight - The HALLOWEEN

n Dead by Daylight, you play as either a Survivor or a Killer. The Survivors aim is to escape the level, and the Killer’s goal is to stop them. Survivors use their 3rd person camera to look around, while the Killer’s FPS view is much more narrow.

OBJECTIVES - SURVIVOR
As a Survivor your main objective is to escape the level through one of two metal gates. To be able to escape, Survivors must repair generators. These generators are scattered across the level. To be able to open the gate, a minimum of four generators must be repaired. This in turn activates the gates and Survivors can now open a gate and escape.



Secondary Objectives - Daily Rituals

Daily Rituals are secondary objectives that will reward the player with Bloodpoints upon completion. Daily Rituals are voluntary and it is up to the player if they to complete them.

A maximum of three Daily Rituals can be kept at any time
If the limit is not reached, one new Ritual is given to the player each day
Daily Rituals do not stack. So failing to login in does not give a new Daily Ritual
There are no time limits for completing a Daily Ritual.
Daily Ritual progress is tracked between matches and can be reviewed in the Daily Ritual tab.
Daily Rituals can be cancelled. Cancelling frees up space and you can receive a new Ritual if you haven’t already receive the current one for the day.


Search for Items

During a level, Survivors can also search levels for items in chests to be used either in-game or in the next match. This is not needed to complete a level, but it can make it easier and/or provide aid in the next match.

OBJECTIVES - KILLER
The Killer’s main objective is to stop the Survivors. This is done by catching them and hanging them from one of the Meat Hooks found in the level. Killers can not die, but will fail if the Survivors manage to escape.



Secondary Objectives - Daily Rituals

Daily Rituals are random secondary objectives that will reward the player with Bloodpoints upon completion. Daily Rituals are voluntary and it is up to the player if the player wants to complete them.

SURVIVE WITH FRIENDS MODE
In Survive With Friends, up to 4 friends may join a game together against a random killer. This mode is ranked.

KILL YOUR FRIENDS MODE
In Kill Your Friends Mode, 2-5 friends are able to team up and play matches between themselves. It differs from Normal Gameplay as some features are excluded. Basically, it is a simpler version of Ranked Gameplay.


There is no rank or matchmaking in Kill Your Friends Mode
Points are not compiled towards progression
The Bloodweb is unavailable in Kill Your Friends Mode
The Host can determine the map played, whether all or none perks/items/offerings are allowed, and whether DLC Killers are allowed.
